Bio-sketch

Dr. Jingshan Li is a full professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering, Tsinghua University. He is an IEEE Fellow, an IISE Fellow, and an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer in Robotics and Automation. He was a tenured Professor in Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Madison, till September 2021. His main research areas are in modeling, analysis, and control in manufacturing and healthcare systems. He has made many innovative work, with a lot of peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings, two textbooks, and seven book volumes. He has received NSF Career Award, IEEE Early Career Award in Robotics and Automation, Best Paper Awards in IEEE Transactions, IIE Transactions, and prestigious international conferences, Best Textbook Award, and awards in UW Madison. He has been the Senior Editors of many top journals and Chairs of flagship conferences. His research has been supported by NSF, DOE, NIST, AHRQ, and industrial and healthcare organizations.
