On 19th Oct., a Culture Salon hosted by the department of Industrial Engineering was held in the corridor at the fifth floor of Shunde Building, aiming to provide an opportunity for students and supervisors to discuss academic issues and encourage students to communicate with their instructors and other students from different labs.
Soon after 3 p.m., the students began to trickle in and greeted with each other warmly. Because of different schedules and tasks, students preferred to study and work individually so that it was seldom for them to meet, even if the next door.
An increasing number of students and faculty members joined in this party. They were gathering around and talking about the recent research findings, the atmosphere became extremely active.
The Culture Salon of Industrial Engineering achieved the goals and expectations with a success.
