Biography

Dr. Ruifeng Yu is an associate professor in the industrial engineering department of Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. His research areas cover visual search, visual cognition, work organization and Human-autonomous systems collaboration and interaction in the region of human factors and ergonomics.Currently, he is the member of Tsinghua University Admission Committee for graduate students, the secretary general and executive council member of China Ergonomics Society, the council member of International Ergonomics Association, the council member of Asian Council of Ergonomics and Design, the council member of Managerial Innovation Branch of Innovation Method Association of the Ministry of Science & Technology of China, the council member of Industrial Engineering & Management Branch of Management Science & Engineering Society of China. He is the editor of International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics, associate editor of Human Factors and Ergonomics in Manufacturing & Service Industries, editorial board of Journal of Transportation Technologies and editorial board of Chinese Journal of Ergonomics.

As the principal investigator, he has managed three projects funded by national natural science foundation, one project funded by the National Key Technology R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, five projects funded by international companies and has led more than 30 projects funded by governmental agencies or industries. As the first or second author, he has published more than 60 papers in international and domestic journals, in which 35 papers are indexed by SCI or/and SSCI.
