Academic & Admissions
(1) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid personal ordinary-type passport.
(2) Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree to a Bachelor's degree (or above) in China. The students who will enroll in 2025 must obtain the nationally recognized bachelor's or master's degree (for the universities of Chinese mainland) or the degree authentication report issued by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange, Ministry of Education, P.R. China (CSCSE) (for overseas universities) before Tsinghua University graduate student registration date of 2025, otherwise the admission qualification is invalid.
GMA Program: degree in engineering, science, mathematics, statistics, business, or related disciplines.
IMEM Program: degree in engineering, science, management, or related disciplines.
(3) Applicants should be in good health and of good character (meet the physical examination requirements stipulated by the country and Tsinghua University), be well-behaved and be willing to abide by China's laws and regulations, as well as Tsinghua's rules.
(4) Language competency requirements:
Master's Program in English: Proficiency in English is mandatory (C1 level at least).
Master's Program in Chinese: Chinese Proficiency Requirement:HSK level 6 with a score of 180 or above.
Note: The applicant shall carefully check whether he/she meets the application qualification and application requirements before applying. The relevant consequences arising from his/her failure to meet the application qualification and application requirements shall be borne by the applicant himself/herself.
