Requirements for Innovative Achievements for Degree Application
1. The topic of the degree thesis or practical project should originate from an applied topic or a real-world problem, and should have a clear professional context and industry application value, reinforcing the application-oriented focus.
2. The degree thesis work should include major components such as the thesis proposal, the mid-term review of the thesis work, and the thesis defense.
3. The work related to practical achievements should include major components such as the feasibility assessment report for applying for the degree with the practical achievement, the mid-term review of the practical work, and the presentation and evaluation of the practical achievement.
4. The thesis proposal and the feasibility assessment report for applying for the degree with the practical achievement should generally be completed before the end of the second semester after enrollment. The research work for the degree thesis and the practical achievement should generally span no fewer than one year. Students who fail to meet these requirements should be handled in accordance with the Tsinghua University Regulations on Graduate Student Status Management(《清华大学研究生学籍管理规定》).
