Faculty Positions in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University

Tsinghua University invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in Industrial Engineering at the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor. We seek to fill three positions, with an expected start date in the Spring Semester of the 2026–2027 academic year.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field. Candidates should be able to teach courses in Industrial Engineering and demonstrate strong research potential or accomplishments. We are particularly interested in candidates whose research integrates Artificial Intelligence with Industrial Engineering (AI+IE), or who effectively combine theoretical rigor with practical impact.

Desired research areas include, but are not limited to:

· Smart Manufacturing and Logistics Systems;

· System Intelligence and Industrial Computing;

· Human Factors and Intelligent Human-System Interaction; and

· Fundamental Methodologies and Emerging Topics in Industrial Engineering.
