【Abstract】I will talk about algorithmic and human factor based interaction design aspects of intelligent learning techniques. First, I'll start off with the centralized computational clustering methods in a standard stochastic noise setting for networked users. Next, in the decentralized clustering setting I'll describe distributed efficient algorithm for solving linear regression based problems in peer to peer networks with limited communication capabilities. Last, I'll generalize them to the collaborative filtering applications combined with clustered models. The corresponding real-world extensive experimental results and prototype design are provided to demonstrate the significant increased performance and superiority.
【Short Bio】Dr Shuai Li is a Postdoc in Intelligent Engineering in the Department of Engineering, and the Intelligent Interactive Systems Group (advised by Dr Per Ola Kristensson, University Reader) affiliated within the Engineering Design Centre, I am also a member of the Cambridge Strategic Research Initiative in Big Data, all are at the University of Cambridge (THE Ranking 2018 World No. 2, Shanghai Ranking 2017 World No. 3).
