Biography
Dr. Lefei Li is an Associate professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Industrial Engineering of Tsinghua University. He is mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in service operation and management, complex system modeling and simulation, logistics and medical and intelligent transportation systems. He received his B.S. degree from Zhejiang University, and both his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees received from the University of Arizona, Tucson, U.S.A in 2004 and 2006. He has been working in the Department of Industrial Engineering of Tsinghua University since September 2006.
Currently Dr. Li is the Deputy Director of the Department of Industrial Engineering of Tsinghua University, Executive Deputy Director of the Complex Systems Engineering Research Center of the Department of Industrial Engineering of Tsinghua University, Executive Deputy Director of the Center for Smart Logistics and Supply Chain Systems of Tsinghua University, and Deputy Dean of the Institute of Quality and Reliability of Tsinghua University , Standing Deputy Dean and Secretary-General of Institute of Interdisciplinary Medicine and Engineering of Tsinghua University, and former Deputy Mayor of Jiaozhou Municipal People’s Government in Shandong Province (suspended post) .He has served as a reviewer, editor, and program vice chairman of important international conferences such as the IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSC), IEEE Service Operation, International Conference on Logistics and Informatics (SOLI), etc., and then assumed the role of IEEE Intelligent Transportation Guest editor of the China Intelligent Transportation Special Issue of System Magazine. Since 2009, he has served as the associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, and later as the Intelligent Transportation System of IEEE Intelligent Systems. Column editor and associate editor. Since he has been actively participating in the conference organization and editing work of the IEEE Intelligent Transportation System Branch, Mr. Li Lefei was appointed as the chairman of the 2010 IEEE International Conference on Service Operations, Logistics and Informatics (SOLI) and the vice chairman of the 2020 CSDM conference program. At the same time, Mr. Li Lefei successively served as the chairman and vice chairman of INCOSE (International Association for System Engineering) Beijing branch, editorial board member of "Journal of Automation", and standing director of China Society of Logistics. In 2013, he was selected into the Beijing University Young Talents Program.
