On June 3rd, 2016, “Tsinghua University Seminar Series of Professional Master Degrees in Manufacturing and Logistics curriculum ” and “Tsinghua Wealth Quarterly Summit Forum of Manufacturing and Logistics Industries” jointly held by the Education Center of Master of Engineering Management (MEM) Program of Tsinghua University and the Economic Information Daily of the Xinhua News Agency were firstly convoked at Tsinghua University. Prof. Wei Zhang, Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Tsinghua University, and Mr. Yuejin Du, Chief Editor of the Economic Information Daily, gave welcome address respectively. The first seminar was given by Ms. Mingzhu Dong, President of GREE. The activity was moderated by Dr. Dacheng Liu, Executive Director of the Education Center of MEM Program.

In the first half of the keynote speech, Dong Mingzhu made a speech named as “Intelligent manufacturing under the economic new normal” analyzed the current situation and development trend of manufacturing industry. And she also introduced the strategy transition and transportation decision GREE made under the economic new normal taking several innovative products of GREE as examples. In the second half of the keynote speech whose theme is “Where should Chinese manufacturing industry go under the global competition?” Liu Dacheng and Zhu Hengyuan, Vice President of Institution for Global Industry (IGI), made a summit conversation with Dong Mingzhu. They made a debate and exchange directing at the trend of global competition, the outlet of Chinese manufacturing industry and development strategy of GREE, letting numerous students and social audiences taste a grand banquet of idea.
