Dr. Kaibo Wang, an Associate Professor of the Department of Industrial Engineering (IE) at Tsinghua University, was elected as Chair-Elect of the INFORMS Quality, Statistics and Reliability (QSR) Section recently. This is the first time for the QSR section to have a scholar from mainland China to be the chair.
  INFORMS, the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences, is the largest society in the world for professionals in the field of operations research and management sciences. The section QSR includes more than 20 countries and regions and more than 300 members, and it is one of the major academic organization on quality and reliability.
