　　The Tsinghua-UNC EMBA 2013 opening ceremony and the Tsinghua-UNC Global Supply Chain Forum was held in the reception hall of Main Building in Tsinghua University on October 19th, 2013.

　　The Tsinghua-UNC EMBA Program was a joint program by the Department of Industrial Engineering of Tsinghua University and UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. The program was stimulated by the economic globalization, with the aim to cultivate new leaders for the global industry. The program utilizes the resources of Tsinghua and UNC, effectively combining innovative researches and accumulated wisdom of the two schools in engineering and business studies. With the in-depth cooperation between China and the US, the program created a new model of business administration education, thereby cultivating business leaders with a global vision, engineer thinking and entrepreneurship.

　　Professor Li Zheng (head of Department of Industrial Engineering), Associate Professor Linning Cai (Chinese director of the Tsinghua-UNC EMBA program), Professor Jayashankar Swaminathan (deputy dean of UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School) and Professor Noel P.
