To promote the research and practice of BOM in China,an international workshop on Behavioral Operations Management was held in Tsinghua University, Beijing, P. R. China on December 19-20, 2009. This workshop was organized jointly by Departments of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at Tsinghua University.  

At the workshop some world renowned scholars and researchers were invited to present the state-of-the-art research results in order to let the scholars, researchers, and graduate students in the universities and research institutions of China to get exposed to the newest development in this newly developed research area. More than 100 people attended the workshop.
