The University of North Carolina system China High Education leadership visited Tsinghua IE Department on March 22nd, 2012. Tom Ross, president of University of North Carolina System and Hunnah Gage, Chair of University of North Carolina Board of governors and other 11 members expressed the purpose of this trip, which aims at deepen understanding China’s economy and higher education system, extent the collaborative activity between China and the US and develop strategies to increase effectiveness of such activity.
Professor Li Zheng made the welcome speech and co-director of Tsinghua-UNC Center of Logistics and Enterprise Development (CLED), Linning Cai, assistant professor and Noel Greis, professor of UNC at Chapel Hill illustrated the corporation history between Tsinghua IE Department and UNC at Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School. Members of the System were high interested in CLED’s development and the new-founded Tsinghua-UNC EMBA Program (a dual-degree program focusing on global supply chain leadership) which will be an effective communication platform for academy and enterprises.
